Who says you can't go home again?!?

Helped my partner-in-crime Ian Ascher out with a quick cover to his book IRON SIRENS published by JMProductions. I was very comfortable going back to my roots and drawing in such familiar surroundings. The girls may have changed a bit since last I graced their lines but the fun and rush of the project was still there even after all this time away. It does my old heart good to see that the book is still going strong with some very nifty artwork and stories.

If you're into Fitness Models do youself a favor and pick up the books featuring some of the most well-known talent currently in the sport by visiting FitnessDivas.com and getting them all! You can also see some con pics and get even more info about the girls and book at the IRON SIRENS website.

As for this cover itself: Looming in the background we've got Diva X based on Fitness Model Gina Aliotti.

On our left hand side is the Dark Diva Shade based on Fitness Model Jenn Gates.

On the right of the page is the Dark Diva Raptress based on Fitness Model Sonia Gonzales.

And taking center stage, crouching on the palm of Diva X, is Dark Diva Black Lotus based on Liza Kampstra.

You MySpacers can visit the IRON SIRENS MySpace page for even more info on the series!

Cover was drawn on 11"x17" Board with an F Lead then inked using Microns and a brushpen. As usual if you want to see the really loose pencils just visit my sketchblog Zombies Love Comics.

Nice work! I quite like the composition here, and your signature heavy-black inking style paid great dividends here as well. Despite the fact that you have everyone in close, the characters are still distinct and have a real personality to them. :) Very well done!

It's clear you're back in your comfort zone with this piece. I can always count on you to show the world how to kick butt with traditional tools. You seriously make me want to break the Microns out of retirement and put Photoshop on the back burner.

I don't know why I did it, I don't know why I enjoyed it, and I don't know why I'll do it again.

Thank you so much especially since I feel like my inking abilities are very weak and I'm really challenged by trying to make things look as good as I can with them.

I'll figure something out, I always do.
