Just some quick colorpencil, marker work from my sketchbook. I thought about putting this in a printed sketchbook but the way things are going I'm not even sure I want to print up a book for this year.
Little known fact: I actually don't like tats on women. I dunno why, just me I guess.
Took me a while to figure out I was looking at her back, but all in all, that's pretty sweet. As for tats on women... I don't know, it totally depends on the woman.
It's not just you--I used not to mind it, but I've seen to me gaudy and very bad ones on gals it's kinda soured me on them.
That said, the pic is really tight--I like the "scratchy" effects on the background and on the border--between that and the rendering, it almost has a euro-comics feel to it. Excellent work! Very well done!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
